Is Elon Musk in Trouble?

"This medium has become a gigantic global sewer, and we should continue to wade into it? We see it every day: Twitter hinders debate, the quest for truth, and the serene and constructive dialogue needed between human beings. With its thousands of anonymous accounts and its troll farms, life on Twitter is the exact opposite of democratic life."

—Anne Hidalgo, Mayor of Paris, on her decision to leave Twitter

Elon is unbanning Alex Jones even though he already said he has no mercy for anyone who'd use dead children for gain, ....but to be fair to Musk, the story he told about his dead child to back that policy was a lie according to his ex wife, so it's not something he actually believed.

So Elon must be hurting for eyeballs and is doubling down to fill his cesspool with more toxic waste.

Even before Elongated Muskrat bought the Twatter, I thought it was an inferior platform. It was good for sharing links and soundbites, but it was useless for extended conversations. Like most social media platforms, it did a terrible job of protecting people against harassment and hate speech, but under the new ownership, it seems like toxic behavior is actively encouraged.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -Tesla is recalling over 2 million vehicles in the U.S. to install new safeguards in its Autopilot advanced driver-assistance system, after a federal safety regulator cited safety concerns...

Well, that's not going to help twitter much.

Post 591 is unbelievable. I mean I believe the post, I just don't understand the people it is talking about.?

During the first round of Covid-19, after a vaccine was created and made available to the public, conspiracy theories preached that the vaccines was a governmental means by which microchips were being injected into people at the same time. Mostly, they were right-wing. The people being talked about are, in essence, anti-vaxers.

Well, Alex needs to raise a billion dollars for damages, and the lawsuits are still coming. I hope the neo-Nazis are generous, the Sandy Hook families would just love to take their money as well.

WASHINGTON, Dec 22 (Reuters) - Twitter violated contracts by failing to pay millions of dollars in bonuses that the social media company, now called X Corp, had promised its employees, a federal judge ruled on Friday. Mark Schobinger, who was Twitter's senior director of compensation before leaving Elon Musk's company in May, sued Twitter in June, claiming breach of contract...

...drip, drip, drip...

The sound of Elon's money seeping away.

The directors of his companies just now a bit worried?

Are they afraid he will turn out like HRH?

They should be more concerned, now that the WSJ is saying they are concerned, about the lawsuits from shareholders if Musk's behaviour crashes the public companies into the wall and they were aware of the risk.

I saw one of his supertrucks in a parking lot. It's small, low, cramped in the cab - no extended cab, no cargo capacity, and looks like the bastard child of a Delorian and an El Camino. I can't imagine anyone who actually needs a truck wanting one of those, and I can't imagine anyone who needs a cock extender wanting one.

No self-respecting redneck will be caught dead in that. Seriously, that thing is no threat to the truck market, it looks like something fanboys want to buy because they're...? Fanboys?

Musk must be hurting again.

For the people not paying him 8 bucks a month for Truth Social Lite...he has us down to an incredibly short feed...like about viewing 30 or so posts over the last few days.

And of course the less that any of us use Xitter, the less we use Xitter.

No candy for you!

A Delaware judge struck down Elon Musk’s hefty Tesla $55.8 billion pay package in a ruling Tuesday evening. The ruling came following a trial surrounding Musk's 2018 compensation package, which gave him no salary, but rather significant stock options based on performance. The lawsuit was filed by Richard Tornetta, a Tesla shareholder who argued the company breached fiduciary duties by awarding Musk the plan. Tornetta said Tesla failed to give proper disclosures and the board had conflicts of interest...

I particularly like the argument that Elon needed all that money to better humanity. If you want to better humanity Elon, go back to the mothership.

Until all the shareholders revolt and/or the feds bust his monopolies up....we will get no relief from this poseur psychopath.

Taking away 55 billion dollars is a good start, though. I wonder how far down the list of "richest people," he's plummeted.
