Is Elon Musk in Trouble?

The Tesla logo looks like an IUD. I bet it's almost as effective a birth control device too.

Meanwhile, projecting a NAZI salute onto a Tesla building in Germany didn't work out as Musk and the Tesla Board hoped.

Another European pension fund has dumped their stock in Wankpanzer. No question but that the institutional investors bugging out
is harshing the mellow for Tesla.

And at this point, its failure (repeatedly) to disassociate from Musk is going to end up being grist for the fiduciary duty to shareholders'
suits from investors left holding positions so badly damaged by him.

But who knew how bad it would get?

I told our investment guy to make sure we didn't have any Musk related shit directly or indirectly in our Portfolio in November (we didn't)...but investors are both notoriously slow to act and sometimes just plain stupid because they think it will all turn out ok if they pray hard enough or something.

The time to have sold was mid December for Tesla when people totally lost their fucking brains and cranked Tesla up so high and so fast that it was clearly a 'designed to fail' pump and dump.

I wouldn't doubt for a moment that Musk and the board helped artificially inflate the price.

Musk really needs to pay attention to his real jobs. The success of BYD is where his attention should be.There’s not much of a chance BYD will ever sell cars in the US but the EU might be a different story so antagonizing them with his political views is bad business.

It’s foolish to be poking the eyes of those whose help you may soon need.

So is it the drugs that have changed this guy?

Too much money and paying taxes, more likely. And paranoia about having that much money. That's what all the compliant billionaires seem to have in common. Go back and take a look at his freak out when someone posted the flight tracking data for his private jet.

He's the same asshole he always was, he just picks different things to be an asshole about.

A world of difference...we all know what we saw and what he even admitted to...but if anyone can understand the difference between Obama's hand gesture and Musk's full on NAZI salute...I suspect it would be the Germans.

But keep simping for Musk. We see it for what it is.

And the point is moot. Germans aren't buying Swastikars or Wankpanzers.

Tesla's brand is so damaged in Europe now.

Oopsie. Elon rocket go boom boom. Again.

SpaceX lost contact with its Starship rocket in space on Thursday during the company’s eighth test mission, dooming a satellite deployment demonstration in the company’s second consecutive Starship failure this year....

But minutes later, the Starship upper stage began to spin out of control in space, SpaceX’s live stream showed. A visualization of the rocket’s engines showed multiple shutdowns before the company confirmed it had lost contact with the ship.

“Unfortunately this happened last time too so we’ve got some practice now,” SpaceX spokesman Dan Huot said on the live stream.

This is the kind of stuff that the FAA Director that Trump got rid of was proposing fines for.

The FAA has halted flights from Florida airports because of space debris from Elon's latest boom boom today.

US aviation authorities temporarily halted flights at several Florida airports over concerns about debris from SpaceX's Starship, which spun out of control shortly after launch.

A ground stop was placed on airports in Orlando and Miami after the failed launch over the Atlantic Ocean. It has since been lifted. No injuries or damage have been reported.

SpaceX confirmed the un-crewed ship had suffered "a rapid unscheduled disassembly" during its ascent into space, and lost contact with the ground.

From Fear and Loathing on FB:

"A MAN ADDICTED TO FAILURE

Musk is the king of rapid unscheduled disassemblies—whether it’s rockets, companies, or his own public image. He fails upwards so hard that even his catastrophes come with a fan club. Every time he torches another venture, humiliates himself online, or gets sued for being a reckless idiot, there’s always a small army of terminally online weirdos ready to call it “4D chess.”

But the illusion is breaking.

Tesla is losing market share to actual car companies that don’t burst into flames in parking lots. SpaceX can’t seem to get a Starship off the ground without it becoming an impromptu fireworks display. And X? Well, X is just the saddest trainwreck on the internet.

Musk built his empire on hype, arrogance, and the ability to surround himself with people too afraid to tell him he’s an idiot. Now, the hype is wearing off, and the cracks are turning into craters.

He won’t go quietly. There will be more explosions, more Twitter meltdowns, more desperate attempts to cling to relevance. But the truth is clear: Elon Musk is no longer the man of the future. He’s just another tech bro in free fall, screaming about wokeness while the ground rushes up to meet him."
