Hmmm... The CEO of Bytedance (which owns TikTok) testified under oath that the Chinese government doesn't own Bytedance and only 20% of the company is owned by Chinese investors, along with 20% employee ownership.

Interesting that these stories are coming out that "China is mulling selling to Musk" a company that they swore they didn't own.
