Is everyone watching the MJ Farewell?

My respect for BBC World and CNN International is now lower than it ever was.
Why the hell are they both broadcasting a concert for a dead pop singer? Are BBC World and CNN International not news organizations? Personally I find it
pathetic. This is nothing more than dumbing down the media. Another thing is why broadcast it internationally if local stations in local markets are doing it?
It's just as bad as spending a full week covering the death of Anna Nichole
Smith and who was the father of her baby.

This makes me wonder sometime how sick and pathetic society is becoming. Reality TV shows left right and center, gossip magazines ect ect ect. YUCK!
 
yeah, maybe i wouldn't have my undies in a bunch if the City of LA wasn't footing a nearly 3 million dollar bill for this -- while AEG and others make sure their names get mentioned over and over and they get all kinds of FREE PUBLICITY - on an international level.
