Is Islam a danger for Western civilization?

You did indeed Pat. However your intention was not to advice, but to inflame. Make more sense to you now?

Refined processed Carbohydrates are a threat to civilization.

Religious extremism and fundamentalism of any stripe is a threat to Western Civilization.

Period.

:##: I told you in the first line that here is someone for you to ignore.

You're the one we should probably ignore, since all you're trying to do is peddle bigotry in the name of piously trying to "warn" us. At heart, your posting habits show an attitude little different from the people you're trying to smear.

Jesus wouldn't be happy.

The Easter egg hunt is a huge part of the whole story of resurrection and is why he gave his life for our sins.

You support religious intolerance?

Tell the Muslims to shut their traps -- it's a free country, and their little-minded bigotry is not in charge.

Local church events have no place being advertised in a public school. I would be equally opposed to Muslims handing out flyers for an event at their Mosque or an Atheist group advertising their event in a public school. As a governmental entity, public schools should remain neutral in regards to religion.

Anyone can hand out flyers about any non-religious event. You just don't like it because church people happen to be hosting it -- so your solution was to tell them they can't host the event.

That's religious persecution.

Should local churches be able to advertise church services and hand out bibles in public schools? Why or why not?

No one is saying that the church cannot hold the event. A public school is not the appropriate setting to advertise a church event. That is all.

Don't change the subject.

Sorry:

Oh dear. Now this ...

The flyers were distributed at school; the hunt is to take place on a church's grounds.

Move the frickin' hunt.

Allow me to clarify. I think it is inappropriate for public schools to be advertising for any event that is not school related or being run by the school. Schools are for education and should not be used as another way to market to children. Non-religious advertising does go on and I think it needs to stop but not because it is unconstitutional.

Public schools promoting religious activities on school grounds is a clear violation of the constitution and should be stopped for that reason.

So the school shouldn't allow the kids to be informed about the summer baseball league run by the Kiwanis, or the swimming lessons offered by the Red Cross, or the new free health options at the NfP clinic?

That's a different topic.

Health related information from the government or health organizations would obviously be allowed on school grounds and should be distributed to students.

I just have to leave this here—

(It's some Turkish person on the left and the English queen on the right)

Why did you "just have to leave this here"?, it is so blatantly off-topic, and also very racial baiting. It is idiots like you and your extreme
right wing views, that just throw petrol on the fire.

Did you say 'extreme views"? This person was killed for their views. Their body was thrown away in the estuary— just like the killers of Shanghai throw their victims in the Shanghai canals.
