Ah "The Iceman Cometh" - Eugene O'Neill, American Playwright

Sort of reminds me of "Since You Went Away" - a Selznick Production

Take your pick.

It has begun to rain here slightly, hopefully there will be more during the night. We have had almost no rain since last April.

We are a "ticking time bomb" as far as the chances of fires go.

Do wish us well, we could use it. But not too much and not too fast as we flood easily. After all the valley is nothing more then and extension of the basin that the whole entire area is.

small geograhic lesson by the local village idiot who has little else on his little mind.

Very warm and sunny Downunder ..... high 30's here yesterday (i.e. in the 90's deg F) and more of the same expected over the next few days.

it's been in the high 50's to mid 60's here in ohio. very strange weather for december, but i wont complain.

Rochester's had the same great weather that TO has had for the past week. Today's high temp was 56 degrees, not bad for the 16th of December! :D

Sorry to hear about the NW area of US. Bummer. Just a few words to those who care to hear, back up systems. Living where I do, have generator(s) [5 total] fuel, wood fired stoves (large main, Franklin in the living room, wood cook stove in the kitchen), food supply (at very least 6 months) water storage (buckets for now, plan for 1500 gal in basement next year). Not much choice here, but something everyone needs to think about should another large diaster happen.

In 1964 when the big earthquake hit up here, the area I am living was without road connection for 3 months. Only way in and out was either fixed wing and rotor craft. So something to at least have in the plan for home contengency.

It was 55 today. Grrrr. I'm ready for the cold but nooooo. Autumn gave winter a skip and went straight into spring.

Wankers.

Not really. It must have been about 70 degrees today here and sunny...I do miss Boston though for the snow.:(

As a native Atantan, I wouldn't know about missing Boston, but Elvin is right. We are having a warm spell right now. 70 is not normal here for this time of year, but I sure would love a white Christmas!

It has been shirt sleeve weather here in the sunny-South. We are expecting the mid-70s tomorrow.

SoCal here, so no, it's not what most people would call cold.
But......we're spoiled, if it gets down to 50F that feels pretty cold for us!

:-)

chicagos been unusually warm for this time of year
we had a couple cold weeks, but just last week temperatures were in the high 40s...

I was snowed in at the end of my lonely desolate lane just long enough to to find that my 2002 Montie Carlo is quite the snow bunny. She plowed through drifts taller and longer than her and just kept going. Snows gone but I'm ready bitch!

80 degrees at both of our city's official weather locations. pretty nice. overall though, it has been a little cooler this december than last year's.

Pretty much like early spring weather here...it's disconcerting.

Is it cold in your neck of the woods? Here in Toronto we've been having some incredibly great weather. None of what you see as you click on the attachment!

Peto what do your attachments have to do with the weather here in Toronto.

just asking.
