Is it only gay men who do this?

I have only very recently accepted the fact I am gay and am slowly coming out but not yet to everyone. Last month I was taking part in a discussion on a straight website about how male fashion sense changes as we age. I consider myself to be in the preppy stage and I uploaded a few of pictures of myself to illustrate what I meant. When I checked the site next day for comments I was shocked. I couldn't believe how many there were and they were all on the same theme that I was a"faggot", "weird queer", "cocksucker" etc. and that I should be kicked off of the site permanently. I had no idea what was going on. The pictures I attached were perfectly normal and they certainly weren't gay looking. I Read through the comments again and was finally able to determine the reason for the outrage. On a couple of the photos where I had my buttondown shirt tucked , my underpants were just visible a tiny bit at the top of my pants. I do tuck my shirt in my underpants and sometimes the white waistband is showing but no one has ever said anything before. According to these morons only gay guys tuck their shirt in their underpants.and only gay guys have their underpants showing. Is this in fact an obvious gay trait or just something that straights won't admit about some of their number. Um.. every single business man tucks in their button shirt inside their pants. It's called being formal, lol. It's not a gay trait. They were clearly a batch of ignorant people that you unfortunately came across.

PS. You should've worn a belt. Ha ha ;)

You tuck your shirt into your underpants?? Like your underwear? You must have been talking to a bunch of idiots because there is nothing gay about that, odd but not gay.

Damn! Here I thought being gay / fag was because I liked sticking my dick in men and loving them for it. Who knew it was because of where my shirt was tucked / untucked.

Then again, I go commando... so how does that work? ;)

Buddy dont waste your time or money on what appears to be a bunch of in-breeds,these are usually the fuckers who hang about public loo,s in the hope
of a quick bj before catching the train home to their lovely wife and 2.4 kids .

Honestly.

Tucking your dress shirt into your underpants is something my grandfather did when he was senile.

Not a good fashion look, I must say.

So. Wear a belt....or suspenders and make sure that none of us can see your shorts.

And the only thing that comes to mind about the site you were on is that it seems weird that straight guys would be posting photos of themselves to show one another their fashions.

Pretty gay from where I sit.

Undershirt goes into underpants.

Regular shirt goes between pants and underpants unless you're a straight college boy who thinks it's cool to leave it half untucked to show off your obnoxiously large belt buckle.

A gay boy would have on a belt. Surrender your membership card.

Thank you. Drive through.

I think they were looking at your finger nails, but in any case they are a crude lot of dangerous homophobes and I'd stay away.

Letting underpants show is definitely a trend with the young, straight crowd. But not by tucking, only by wearing pants low. Personally, having underwear show in any way when dressed looks stupid. And tucking underneath underwear has always been a no-no from where I come from, and an invitation to ridicule.

I have never heard of anyone tucking their shirt into their underwear, either gay or straight.

I don't know where these guys got the idea it was a gay thing. I would have expected someone to make fun of it, but not because of sexual orientation....just for the same reason they might make fun of someone who pulled his socks over his pant legs.

PS. you have to look extremely hard at that pic to even see what might be the waistband of the underwear. With a quick glance it could just be the lining of the waistband from the pants.

But most of all, who the fuck has time to bitch at you about a pic on a web site?

I have never tucked my shirt into my underwear. I do however tuck my shirt into my pants because it has a neater appearance. I don't like to look sloppy.

Far as your pic, everyone and everything that doesn't portray horror and aggression, is considered "gay." Every guy that looks good is considered a "faggot." I think it's a generational thing but doesn't mean you're really gay. They're really just jealous and scared of their feelings. Could it be the purple shirt? Straights tend to make a big deal about pink and purple.

That is a trait used in prison, like having your pants down showing your ass, so other cons know your taken.

I think only insane people would do that on purpose. If we're going with the stereotype that gay men are fashionable, no gay men should do that. It's just weird, so stop it. But thank you, now every time I wear a shirt for the rest of my life, I know to make sure it's tucked in outside my drawers.

That website sounds like it's full of idiots and you should never go there again.

But, speaking of fashion sense, that suit jacket (is it even a suit jacket?) is way too big for you. I actually had to zoom in to make sure it wasn't a winter coat.

^ I agree.

You need the sleeves shortened.

I have to agree.

Most "dry cleaners" usually have access to a tailor, so you might consider having that jacket custom fit for you. :)

As to where you originally posted your pics?

Gay men, when they "tuck" they don't tuck their shirts into their underwear. [-X

A Gay Man's underwear is meant to be seen deliberately, and with only those who he wants to share that with.

Punks = the Ghetto Queens, and the straight suburban boys that want to be them, should really just buy a belt are excluded.

Perhaps that's what some of the less mature individuals were commenting on.

Fashion tip: Under shirts are tucked into your underwear. The shirt that you wear over your "undershirt" is tucked into your pants.

The entire ensemble is separated with a BELT.

Your elastic band should NEVER be showing, unless you're wearing a pair of jeans and that's the look that you're going for.

At least that's how I roll. (*8*)

"Straight" guys, and punks don't know the difference which is what separates the Gays from the rest us. ;)

Favorite joke:

Straight Guy tells a Gay Guy: "I had a Gay Experience once!"

Gay guy looks at how the straight guy is dressed and asks: "Did you wear a belt that matched your shoes?"

So it sounds to me like most of the comments that you got; the people leaving comments didn't know what they hell they were talking about. ..|

So a single post from our thread starter, someone named "white underwear" in french.... perhaps a particular fetish but not necessarily a real situation...
