Yes it is. Relationships are based on trust. You should have trusted your boyfriend and when you accidentily read his post, why being mysterious about it? The best thing is to be open about, it's no big deal.

Anyways, I personally think it's okay if you've both given each other permission. I think it can be a good thing, it'll stop the seeds of mistrust growing, and trust itself will grow as long as nothing bad shows up while keeping tabs. People say boyfriends should trust each other implicitly, but really I think that you need to know more rather than having the blind faith that'll be setting you up for a big fall 9 times out of ten.

Wow this is an old ass thread.

Just to let you all know, yes we still check each others emails and whatnot, but we've been together long enough now that when He or I have some random guy email him on myspace or whatever, we just laugh and give each other a hard time about it.
