I'm with the people that say it depends on what you're kissing.

Mouth kissing, not sex.... very clear in my opinion. It's sexual for sure but not sex.

I would agree. Though I guess it could depend upon what part of the body you were kissing.

Sheesh!

What I mean is.... Mouth Kissing!

Not frog kissing, not kissing someone's ass to get a promotion, not the Rock group Kiss.
Kissing someone passionately On The Mouth!

Kissing on the mouth can be sexy, but it is not sex. Sex does not start for another couple of stops down the line!

I don't think it's sex but I wouldn't like to see my partner (if I ever have one again) making out with another guy because that to me would be cheating ;) But oh, I LOVE kissing.....:luv:

Kissing is a super awesome companion to sex, but I get caught up in the semantics on this question. Kissing is not sex in and of itself. Seeing two guys kissing in public would probably get me (embarassingly) hard, but it wouldn't be the same as seeing two guys having sex on the sidewalk, haha.

yes, have you ever kissed your dad?

Not like this: "My friggen mouth is on yours and I'm basically licking your tongue and the inside of your mouth, not to mention sucking like crazy."

I'm quoting myself.

You haven't? huh, that's weird.

Well, look at it this way, Yes's. We've had hell of a lot more sex than the No's! ;)

Well it's not as straightforward as you think, in my honest opinion, for what that's worth (not much I should think).
Surely it depends on the TYPE of kissing.
Affectionate pecks on the cheek are just that and obviously the kisses you give between family members are signs of affection and family love, but you're not talking about tongueing here are you. That's a completely different area of kissing. Now when my fb and I get into a real deep kiss I get extremely aroused and so then it becomes A PART OF the whole sex thing, just like a really nice cuddle and stroking each other's skin. The original question is too simplisticly put.

While kissing may be an intimate act it is not sex. There is not contact with any genitalia with any other orafice. It is mouth to mouth, not mouth to penis, or penis to anus, or penis to vagina, or mouth to vagina.
So maybe my next poll should ask: Is the mouth a sexual organ?

That is a much more complicated question actually. I won't touch it here but I'm sure you can imagine where I'm going with this one.
