If you had paid attention in Sunday School you wouldn't believe in Stephen Hawking or his work.

P.S.
Checked out your gallery pics, very nice.

I believe no one can clearly answer that question, the universe by composition is two things: matter and energy. So I guess what lies beyond it is not matter nor energy so it must be one thing: nothing. I see the universe as endless and nothing lies beyond it because the universe is everything.

It is all a big black hole isn't it? The latest series of Dr Who is about to be shown in Australia. Perhaps he has the answer.

I subscribe to the "Horton Hears a Who Theory". Our space is just a subspace of matter in an outer universe. Likewise, our matter contains subspace consisting of other inner universes. This pattern continues infinitely into both outer an inner universes.

The universe may
be as great as they say.
But it wouldn't be missed
if it didn't exist.

- Piet Hein

What is it all but a trouble of ants in the gleam of a million, million suns? - Tennyson

Non existence perhaps? Or is non existence (after life) within the realms of this universe?

I was just sitting in the bath thinking about doing the vacuuming when the old 'what lies beyond the furthest star' chestnut cropped up. So what is beyond the universe ? Does it go on forever, or is it suspended in some sort of infinite nothingness ? Did the universe just 'arrive' ?
It's times like this I wish I had paid more attention at Sunday School.

Darlin, if you're in the tub thinking about vacuuming, you should keep your mind on the task at hand. Those penis pumps can be dangerous if you're not paying attention to what you're doing.

You bathe BEFORE you do the vacuuming??

I am keeping my eye on what I'm doing .... I'm using the penis pump in the bath to test Stephen Hawking's theory about the universe being in a vacuum.

Well, if you've got your whole universe crammed in a vacuum while sitting in the tub...I just really want to be an astronomer with a good view. (!)

Hmm...I have absolutly no idea.
I don't think that anyone could really answer this.
But you have me thinking of many possibilities...I'll be up for quite awhile now.

If you think about it, isn't it kinda weird. It's like there is a 4th dimension that the human brain can't interpret !   A black empty space that goes on forever ..........

Your right, it is really weird. First I start off thinking that it goes on forever, but then I think that it has to end somewhere, but then I think how in the world would the universe just end and then I just end up confusing myself...
