I'm thinking about buying an Apple Watch, but I'm not sure if it's worth the $350 for the 42mm Sport model. Does anybody have any experience with them? If so, what do you think?

Everyone I know who has one loves it---but there are other options out there.

I've had one for a while and I like it. It definitely is on the expensive side and at times I wonder if it's really worth it. If you're set on getting one I would say hold off for the second generation which is rumored to be coming out soon. Apple is having their developer conference in June and maybe we'll see it there.

I love it -- however, as jockstrapboi stated, they're probably coming out with the newer version in just a month or few -- I'm sure it would be worth the wait...

I have had the 42mm sport in space grey since December. I'm a data analyst, and the Apple Watch helps me keep on time to meetings, connected discreetly during meetings if the husband needs something, excellent notifications about flights when traveling, Uber, AroundMe, and maps navigation when walking in the city, weather (DarkSky) notices, as well as bluetooth headphone music while at the gym. Not trying to sound like a fan-boy, but it really does serve me well. Best wishes ;)

I ended up buying an Apple Watch Sport 42mm and I absolutely LOVE it!

Yeah, it's probably more expensive than it needs to be. But, I do love Apple and their products.

I wish that fitbit would come out with an apple watch app...

I still can't get use to the way that apple wants to track my day...

Also a smart alarm would be nice...

Just listing my dream apps -- oh, and if they are out there -- let me know!!! ..|

:):):)

So I totally agree with the fitness aspect. I wish it kept track of steps in one of the rings instead of calories.

^Oh -- I forgot to say congrats on your new watch!!!

But, yeah, Apple thinks that we'll get used to counting calories rather than steps -- and that it is better to do it their way. However, with steps, you can say "Oh, I need to go for a quick walk to hit my target". With calories -- I guess you could say the same thing, but its not the same -- how many steps do I need, etc...

Oh well -- if you find any killer apps out there please list them...
