I throw in some Yiddish or make some reference to Judaism if I'm unsure.

I'm Jewish....born in Israel.
In all my 23 years I have never been asked straight out.
But I would have no problem with it. I have had some really bad experiences,
but I'm confident who I'am, and my beliefs.

I'm surprised you wouldn't just ask... I mean, why wouldn't you?

1, ask if circumcized - if they are, you are half way there (more polite than asking to see their penis).

2. ask if attending the anti Holocaust seminar in Teheran - if they are, then, no, unless they are from a tiny community in New York and the clothes may give that one away.

3. Repeat and discuss Ogden Nash's poem:
How odd
of God
to choose
the Jews.

4. All those suggestions suck. I like the drop a few words of Yiddish into the conversation.

Some of you might remember that I just recently found out I was part Jewish
1. Congratulations!
2. You aren't a recently retired senator from Virginia, are you?

I find this kind of sad. I live on a boat rather than in a house. Should I worry about coming out to people and admitting it? I'm happy to advertise it and welcome comments and answer questions. Why should I be embarrassed about it? It doesn't define me. In the same way that your jewish background doesn't define you. Talk to nonimous.

Well you could say, should I wish you HAPPY HANNAKKA?

By the way, HAPPY HANNAKKA TO EVERYONE.

I wouldnt suggest you ask them directly, a better more eye candy rewarding question would be:

Can i see your penis?

When they flip it out you will see whether they are cut or uncut and have enough visual for later when you are alone.

Someone please - before I do...

Will it make a difference, if they are Jewish or not.

If i like someone then it doesn't matter what their faith is, over time if you like them, You will find out and if you are curious about the Jewish faith go to a synagogue i am sure a Rabbi will help you out .

There's only one real way to establish it - just shake the guy's hand and say, "I'm a front-wheel-skid - how 'bout you?"

Just ask, I certainly would not be offended as a non-jew someone asking me, wrongly if you like, I would just say no, and I can't see why others would be offended, and ditto I can't see why a Jewish person would be offened if he was Jewish, you would even appear perceptive?

I'm quite easy with things i wanna know: i'll ask.
