Is there a Youtube converter?

Have they finally figured out how to rip youtube vids? That way I can add them to my Zune.

It should be easy. Any youtube vid you view is saved to your browser's temporary folder. You won't be able to identify them by filename, you'll have to judge by the date/time and size. After you think you found one, change the extension to .flv (thats the flash video format). From there, it can be converted to almost any file format using various freeware on the internet. Just google for it.

I have firefox, and use DownloadHelper. It has a little notifier next to the browser's address bar, telling you that it can be downloaded. The videos download as flash videos, so you'll need something like FLVPlayer, or a converter, which I haven't been able to find a free converter yet. It works on many sites. I mostly use it in conjunction with Wildmonkeydance, because the blogger seems to be able to work around Megarotic and find much better videos than what pops up when I visit the site.

Ok so i converted a video on vixy.net, the video opens up in my qicktime player, how do i get it on my ipod?
