I stumbled on my big high school crush on facebook today and it's put me in a good mood all day. hah.

Yeah, I saw my buddy from 18 years ago. I had such a crush on him, it was painful. Alas, he's straight. He was the cutest guy, 7 years younger than me.

Oh man, NOW I'm glad that didn't work out! He got FAT.... double chins and all. I almost wanted to hug him and cry because I was so sad to see him like that.

I realized then that I actually held up quite well. Made ME feel REALLY good! LOL!


But I still think about him, and how he used to look. Sigh.. He's the one in my avatar.....

I hit on my first gay friend way back in college, and was turned down. But he then took a fancy to another guy, and enlisted my help in trying to get them together. For some reason, that other guy's name popped into my head today, so I googled his name. And found his facebook page.

He looked about what I thought he would. Older, rounder, not much wiser. But still better than me.

Facebook is just becoming too much for me these days. People I went to school with and were friends with i've added just look completely different from how they used to. I suppose it dawned on me that we're all ageing (myself included) and it was a pretty sad fact of life. Sometimes the past should remain in the past and that includes people from the past too.
