He isn't attractive at all in those photos. Even under all that, I can see that he has some potential though. Lose the glasses and get a haircut and he could be quite hot.

My thoughts exactly. If he was naked, he'd be quite cute. As it is with all the odd poses and whatnot it's offputting.
