No. But I did use a pic of me, and a cartoon version, for several years ages ago.

I wouldn't use a self-pic now and risk scaring off even more Jubbers.
 
Obviously, I don't have one. I've been asked why before.
I've never found a pic that I thought accurately represented me, without it actually being a pic of me.
I guess I am weird among millennials in that I don't do social media, am kind of s private person and actually strive for there to be absolutely no pics of me anywhere on the net.

I really had that on a car when it was registered in Michigan--but Colorado requires front plates so that one is on the wall of the garage now.

i decided on a statuary theme some time ago. I’ve cycled through a few. Briefly I had a shot of me at the start of a fitness endeavour. I did okay but didn’t bother with a follow-up.

At the moment it’s a statue of Louis Riel, a crazy catholic fantasist who tried to get the Vatican moved to the prairies of North America, and who was hanged for treason after trying to lead Métis (descendants of Cree and French explorers, and occasionally grouped together with “country-born” Cree/Scottish explorers) to independence in Manitoba.

After a bit of revisionist history, he has been rehabilitated as a “Father of Confederation”. This commemorative statue in a modernist style, symbolizing his naked anguish in bronze, was erected in Winnipeg on the grounds of the Manitoba legislature, covered with a circular shroud of concrete to provide him some modesty, then turned into a cruising ground for anonymous gay public sex in the 70’s and 80’s. It’s gone now. It’s a bit fun to have such a diametric avatar in so many respects.

My best friend, who died nearly 30 years ago. But whenever I come on here and post, his is the first face I see. It immediately brings back the memories of all those nights dancing with him at the I-Beam in San Francisco in the late '70s. And it lights up my heart, as it always did when I would see him walk into a room or walk onto the dance floor and join me, dancing by myself. We killed on the dance floor.
