I'm just curious whether your best friend is a guy or a girl...

And what is your proportion of gay/bi vs. hetero friends?

Like 70% hetero friends, 30% gay/bi...

And do you feel any difference between those 2 groups personally? (like you behave differently when with gay friends etc.)

Best friend is a hetero guy, we are very similar in our interests and hobbies and hes really fun to be around.

My friends are mostly hetero, maybe 80% of them, because I have known my friends since school and still hang out with them.
 
my best friend is a guy, so far from what i know he is straight...i hope not, because i'm in love with him (oh my...we all know, there is no happy ending in this kind of love)

i think all of my friend is straight, because i don't know who is gay and who is not, my assumption is all of them is straight, LOL...
 
my best and longest friend is a girl... i seem to have better friendships with girls...

my bestfriend is a female -- but I have several close friends that are a mix of guys/girls.

I have a few gay/lesbian/bisexual friends; & a lot of straight friends, but it really doesn't matter to me. I act the same no matter who I'm with.
 
My best friend is a straight guy. We have alot of the same interests and stuff.

As for the ratio of straight friends to gay friends....that's 100% straight and 0% gay. I live in a small backwoods town and don't know any gay people yet. If there even here!
 
I have 3 people who I consider my best friends. 2 are hetero girls, and 1 is a gay guy.
 
I dont really do best friends, at the moment the closest thing to one is a girl, but then I've always had female friends, only ever had 2 male friends who I would have considered best friends in my life and I dont talk to either of them much now.

I think that to an extent it's really high-schoolish cuz the person you call your best friend today may stop answering your calls tomorrow, or may become enemy #1 tomorrow. Also, I don't really have friends anymore since I found out these last couple of years that they are all FAKE, unappreciative, backstabbing, asswipes. So I basically gave them the "Fuck you. You're CUT from my life."

But I am starting University next week and its time for a fresh start. Make new aquaintances that I can hang out with and maybe I'll get a couple friends out of it too. :)
 
I have more girl friends than I do guy friends. But I don't really see more of my girl friends a whole lot. My best friend is a girl, she lives in Seattle. Most of my other girl friends are strewn across the country. I guess you can say I have more guy friends now. Most of them are gay too.
 
My best friend is a straight guy, but at other times in my life (I've moved a lot), I've had girls as best friends. No shame in that.

I've only come out recently, so most (but not all; I did have a couple gay friends before) of my friends were straight (although two admitted they were lesbians after I came out to each one).

I'm building up my gay friend "collection". :-) It's so much easier to talk to gay guys about certain things. And movies are much more fun with a group of gay bears, LOL.

I have known my best friend Stef for 38 years, we met in kindergarten. We are more like brothers. Seeing as I only came out at 38 most of my friends are hetero. I have three really good gay friends, whom I have met in the last 5 years.
 
My best friend is my partner and I've known him for 15 years :kiss:
 
Havent had a best friend since high school! and that didn't turn out well. so I have no best friend but my two closest friends are straight guys. Growing up always connected well with straight guys, branched out to many straight girls as well later on
 
All my good friends are guys, and all except one (my BF) are straight. Never been very close to a girl - girls have cooties[-X.
 
I'm about half and half, in saying that I have 4 best friends, which may not seem possible. But I'm sooo close to them all, and I love them all the same. Two guys, two girls. I have no gay friends, or if I do they are hiding it well. I'm all alone out there. But its cool...They keep me leveled, and since I'm not out it helps alot. But what can ya do??
