ISIS slaughters 150+ Syrian soldiers.

Marched to their deaths: Sickening ISIS slaughter continues as 250 soldiers captured at Syrian airbase are stripped then led to the desert for mass execution

Sickening footage appears to show Islamic State militants parading around 250 captured soldiers through the desert in their underwear before they are killed and their bodies piled on the bare earth.

The number count varies in various media. It is believed to be at least 150.

ISIS is now believed to have drone capability for reconnaissance and to also now have captured jets.

President Obama has said the US has no strategy yet for dealing with ISIS.

President Obama said Thursday that that "we don't have a strategy yet" when it comes to removing the threat of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) in the Middle East.

The amount of ambivalence displayed by the Middle Eastern countries is astounding.

Why should they spend any money doing anything?

Sarcasm, they won't because they know that eventually we - meaning us and Europe eventually will.
I for one am thoroughly tired of having to deal with any of these countries and that includes Israel.

I saw the video on you tube. Don't know if its still up. Shows them marching into the desert and then the line of grounded bodies. In the video it stated 200 -250, hard to tell but there were a lot of dead dudes in their underwear. Also hard to tell if these were actually Syrian soldiers are some other mass murder. Comments weren't disabled but no one at that time had left a comment. I found it curious because people leave nasty comments on any type of video. I think it had 300 likes and no dislikes as well. Yet I didn't have the balls to leave a comment either I don't want some shit ~ka~ bob tracking me down on the world wide web. These savage beast like to use a 6" steak knife to slowly hack your head off, no Samari quick chop sword in their brutal execution.

Is this not the same Syrian military that likes to butcher civilian adults and children in the past? If so they didn't seem to be able to wage combat with these ISIS the way they can with civilian children and woman. Why they wouldn't fight to the death I cannot understand, better to try then marching to die.

I have no interest in getting into a "whose atrocity is worse" conversation. These animals committed an atrocity. The Syrian armies atrocities are on them, this is not justice for that, this is it's own atrocity, for which the perpetrators are equally guilty.

And THAT frankly is the problem with the whole region, everyone is pointing fingers and no one will stop.

We're in good shape. Obama has said "we don't have a strategy yet." Well, I'd be coming up with one - and never wear a tan suit again.

Why should they not, considering the hell Bush got for supposedly ignoring far less significant warnings about Bin Laden intentions towards the US?

Because we have a very long and very well documented history of funding and supporting the good guys of the moment to oppose internal conflicts with groups like ISIS in this region of the world only to have those "good guys" in their turn invade another country or start committing atrocities against someone else 20 years later, with our flag on many of their weapons.

That's why.

Obama may not have a strategy, but what is the Republican strategy?

Strafe and bomb the hell out of everybody, I guess.

Just like "Obamacare" - the Republican strategy is to REPEAL, REPEAL, REPEAL (more than fifty times in the House), and replace it with **NOTHING**. Let the insurance companies drop-your-ass if you dare get cancer.

Just like immigration. Send all those children back to Honduras where they will be slaughtered. (WEHERE has this issue gone? It's a dead issue. I assume all those tens of thousands of children are STILL massed in what amounts to concentration camps.)

"They beheaded some dude, why do we not just nuke the middle east" is the predominant thing I see around news comment areas and social media. And similar productive plans.

Well, if we nuke it, then we can go in and take the oil, and it'll burn cleaner because all the radiation will have turned it into nuclear energy.

Cynical conservative hypocrisy directed at Obama that attempts to deflect blame where it lies, at conservatives. If Obama said we don't have a strategy yet, that is acknowledging that we are not going to invade or start a war without a strategy to begin with, a jab at Bush and the conservatives neo-con worst blunder in history war in Iraq.

Bush and the conservatives are 100% responsible for what is going on in the middle east now. It wasn't a war zone before Bush and the republicans decided to invade.

Its also acknowledging that there is no way Obama is going to launch a major military action in the middle east knowing doing so will completely turn off liberals in the mid-terms.

This is one of the greatest understatements......and you know what? It is time that the western countries stopped serving as the lightning rods for the hate of the fundamentalists by being the Oil Nations' hired guns.

Honest to Pete, it is about time that we just sat back and let this train wreck happen. ISIS is good at terror...but I'll bet that it sucks at actually governing beyond directing traffic and setting up food banks.

There is not going to be a caliphate...and if the fundamentalists want to give it a go...let's see what the House of Saud and the UAE princes have in their pants.

Remember the Taliban ruled Afghanistan and allowed terrorist to use it as a base before 9/11.

Remember the Taliban ruled Afghanistan and allowed terrorist to use it as a base before 9/11.

Remember the Taliban received the kind of training, aid and military support that McCain was saying Obama should give to groups like Isis a year or two ago when the Republican talking point was that we should be doing more to help rebel groups against the Syrian government.

But Republicans never seem to be quite old enough to learn the lesson that so many of their "good guys" today became the bad guys of tomorrow after being artificially helped into power.

After decades of interfering with politics in the Middle-East with war and invasions, the United States has finally fostered the perfect terrorist regime that actually does need to be dealt with in the world. ISIS is the real thing. More evil and dangerous than Saddam Hussein, the Taliban, Qaddafi, and even Al-Qaeda, these bastards are the most extreme representation of Islamic extremism that we've seen on such a modern scale. The medieval brutality that they inflict on people of all faiths and nationalities is appalling. Their ambitions to devastate the Middle-East appear limitless as their culture of death envelops large swaths of territories, cities, and military infrastructure.
