Hi,

I don't think this is the correct place for this, but I was not sure, where it would go - gay sex stories ? This isn't a story.

Would anyone out there, preferably a solid horndog of a gay male (but anyone could do it, really), like to proofread my gay erotica?

I am the snarfulbuddy on gaydemon.

Apologize if this is not the correct spot for this! Thanks for your time and your help! :D

If your writing program has a good spell-check to which you can add to the dictionary, that really is all the proofreading you need. Readers of porn generally are not obsessed with proper grammar or occasional spelling mistakes. Trust me on that one.

I didn't read the stories (there is a lot of proofreading to be done there), but I read the comments. I'm guessing that the ratings are out of 10, and none were below 9. I shouldn't be too concerned with proofreading as long as you've done your own.

Hi gsdx,

Thanks for your reply. I was speaking of new items, not the ones I have already published. Most of them are short and I hear you, about erotica, but sometimes I overread mistakes and mess up logic. I just want a second pair of eyes to do a quick readthrough before I post new stuff.

Thanks!

Welcome to JUB by the way!!

I would proof but at least half my workweek is spent proofing my own reports and the work our office puts out.

But I am sure there is a grammar Dom out there just boning up thinking of a creative writing sub they can whip into shape.

Your own brain has been suiting your purposes so far. Again, I wouldn't be too concerned if I were you.

I have a number of stories here in JUB's story forum. I've never needed a proofreader beyond myself, and I always proofread 2 or 3 times before posting. I still screw up occasionally. I never had a problem until one reader read one of my stories, but not for the stories. He read it to find and post all of the errors. Funnily enough, it wasn't me who told him off.

Fans are very forgiving and understanding.
