He seems pretty libertarian to me.

Your end of the party has just radicalized to the point that the center is hardly within view of your perspective. It's a good reason to take a look at the sources you've been floating around. They indicate the radical right blogosphere has your undivided attention. I am glad that you come here and share that stuff so we can either debunk it or agree with it, but I sure wish you had a more open mind when it comes to the views of your fellow posters.

Having the UN monitor the election is a very good thing for an honest campaigner who feels strongly about the traditional american value of the privilege to vote.

You think I don't interact with people of differing views? You don't understand New England pragmatists in any way. My husband is a republican. I have never voted for any republicans at state or Federal level since they introduced anti gay language into their platform, but at a local level where I have personal access to the candidates, I vote for their positions.

I am not voting for Brown because he filibustered the veterans jobs act. He was not out of the running for me as a candidate until he did that and spent ten minutes of a debate on Warren's race. Those two things put me out of his collumn.

Look Warren has a weakness that Brown has not even realized, and if he was smart, she would be easy to beat. Unfortunately Brown looks just as fragmented, morally as Romney is, and no one ever can tell when the stepford wife of the GOP will emerge or the Independent crossover will occur.
 
been seeing alot of these reports today and considered opening a thread for all of us to post the election tampering reports.

Hopefully people will continue to do that here.
 
The Justice Department Friday announced that it is dispatching more than 780 federal observers and monitors to 23 states to watch for potential problems which would violate voting rights protected by federal law.

The Justice Department said it was sending observers to 51 jurisdictions in those states to help enforce federal voting rights laws which protect ballot access.

I'm told that the UN observers will not be a the poll where I work. I'm actually disappointed.

Well this means that unless Ohio is not needed for a victory, if Ohio is contested and it goes to the supreme court... well this is not good for anyone. It doesn't change the fact though that Obama still can win even if that state is contested.

Let me look up some other paths to victory for either side that leaves Ohio out of the equation.

If Romney wins Ohio -- the dem's will contest it -- other states also. Why do you think they, the dem's, keep bring up the point that Obama is in the lead in the polls --- no matter if that lead is within the margin of error.
 
Romney is the one that MUST have Ohio. For Obama it merely cliches his win.

You DO see the difference, right?

And you don't even care that Republicans are tampering with the machines that count the vote, and trying to justify their lawbreaking with flimsy excuses?

Unproven charge, you mean. The charge is well-documented in the reports cited in this thread. The mechanisms by which voting equipment ensures accuracy should be transparent and readily understood by the public. Anyone running an election should be able to understand that.
