  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

It seems so impersonal...

Blue is fine with me, or you can call me Dragon (that's what my name means when it's translated into English ;)), or Justin...

And I know your name is Robbie... :D I don't want to give out the name because I am the only one to have that name in my school/city (Moscow, Idaho is a small city, ya know)...really unique...And I love the name :D

(If you look at some of my posts, you might find my real name, because I put my name at the end of a few posts ;), and some people who PM me and I PM them back know it too :D)

On the cooking forum where I post, people sign their posts with their chosen name. It doesn't have to be their real name, but at least it is a name that sounds like it belongs to a person.

You can call me Lars. I purposely capitalized the "Venice" part of my user name so that anyone would know to call me Lars. I don't know why I couldn't have registered as just Lars, but it was not permitted. There is no one here registered as just Lars, and so I guess he left.

If you don't want to use your real given name, then choose a cyber name. Lots of people I know change their names on a regular basis. I see no reason why anyone should be hung up on a particular name.

OOPS. How silly of me. You can also call me "Elvin's Princess" :)

I am wondering how it works when there's a meet. Does everyone call each other by their screen names so that it's easy to remember who everyone is?

i wear one of those stickers... "hello, my name is project 2501."

so far so good.

i don't know wh, but the name matty has always been a turn on for me......!oops!

i'm jason, but shit ass works too. ;)

My brothers name is Jason and when he was little my granny used to call him Shit Ass. Lol that was odd.

^ Now you got me all curious about your name...would you tell me please? :D Promise won't tell anyone else... ;)

Forename? That sounds so silly!

Most of you know mine.

My real name is John.On the boards,I call most posters by their username,or an abbreviated form of it.Occasionally will use their names though at certain times.I don't mind if they use my name or my username.....I shortened it from sausageeater to Sausy to make it easier, anyway.Plus it was hardly original, most of us are that anyway!;)

I use my real name when I communicate through PMs,especially if I know someone pretty well...and they usually will address me by it as well,as also in comments.
