Congratulations, Italy! Berlusconi to Resign.

Too bad it's not because he's a criminal who's only on the street because he's gotten his stooges in Parliament to pass laws exempting him from prosecution. Too bad it's not because he's been messing with underage girls.

No, it's because of Italy's financial crisis. While I'm sure that's in large part his fault, his resignation may not be enough to save Italy from a Greece-like collapse...and since it's a huge economy (3rd largest in Europe), unlike Greece, that could take Europe along for the ride to hell.

Which sucks. But I still want to congratulate Italy for the eminent departure of this worthless loser, and I'm keeping a good thought that it isn't too late.

Some of the things he does and say just make you cringe, it should be in decades ago comedy show. He's a bit of a dinosaur.

And before he resigned he survived his 53rd vote of confidence since May 2008!!!!
