It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

I bought season 3 and just finished it, and holy shit it was hilarious- I feel like my family thinks I'm mental cause I laugh hysterically all alone in my room

the episode 'bums: making a mess all over the city" had me hysterically laughing when Mac and Dee are in a black neighborhood and they are scared looking for someone 'who looks nice.' They completely ignore this extremely friendly looking old man in a rocking chair because he's black and go for this crazy looking guy hovering against a wall because he's white, who of course ends up mugging them. That killed me!

I have a thing for hilarious shows where the protagonists are terrible ignorant people- It's always sunny, Arrested Development, Seinfeld, etc

I'm the same way, any show that has a protagonist that's either ignorant or a complete bastard usually has me rolling in laughter. This show is the king of them all, along with Curb Your Enthusiasm, in that respect.
I <3 Charlie :D

What I find so interesting is that, as far as I know, the young guys, two of whom write most of the shows, are straight, and yet each episode has so much homoerotic interplay among them, to which the characters seem oblivious.

Also, I grew up in Philly and the show has gotten the atmosphere exactly right.
I remember a clip from the new season's upcoming episodes and I think Mac was feeling Dennis' hard nipples, or maybe the other way around.

I love Dennis, not only a goodlookin guy, but Glen Howerton plays him as such an egotistical scheming whore with no remorse perfectly!

^^Oh--that was hilarious. I was laughing my ass off when Sweet Dee tried to steal those shoes; and, like I said before, Artemis was a hoot.

It was just in the paper this morning that Rob McElhnney(Mac) and Kaitlin Olson(Sweet Dee) got married at the beginning of the month.....so I went online to see if there was any other news about it..and I make my way to Kaitlin's myspace page and find out that Charlie and Waitress are actually married as well.....crazy

That is really interesting. So they have their own family-centered comedy troupe. No wonder they interact so well. I also think I read somewhere that Rob and Glen are long-time friends.

Rob, Glen and Charlie are also working on a new Fox show that's described as The Office in Space....I believe Glen is the head writer of the show and the other two are Exec Producers....and they are working with the director that did the "I'm Fucking Matt Damon/Ben Affleck" videos.

lol i loved the wannabe Sex in the City part of the last episode, that is sooo my last roommate

Absolutely love Philly and love the show. Getting ready to start season 3 thanks to Netflix.

It's a decent show, but have stopped watching it to watch better shows.
