  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

It's cloudy. It's cold. It's windy. It's raining.

^Oh good grief...your response is simply annoying. Just remember and don't put all the rest of that rubbish in.

I love my oatmeal with cinnamon, and sugar, and raisins, and almonds, and banana slices, and anything I can toss in there...

Had French Onion soup earlier. Delish.

It's quite edible with nothing more than milk, just as fries are quite edible without salt or ketchup. If you don't think it is, you haven't eaten real oatmeal.

I don't even bother with the milk. I will sometimes have it with nothing more than a knob of butter. The secret is to make sure that it is cooked with enough salt.

I make oatmeal power bars occasionally. Put them into a storage bowl and into the fridge.... you can slice off a section the size of a power bar.... Besides many of the items listed above, I add chia seed.

We have that today. Plus flurries!

I second the oatmeal idea, but I will have to buy more soon. The jumbo package I got so long ago has two servings left. I also need to get grits! I'm not at all southern but I do like grits on cool mornings with butter or margarine.

Good oatmeal is delicious almost by itself.

But only the truly vulgar spare eggnog its bourbon, rum or brandy.

^ I like cream of wheat as well. I keep that on hand right beside my packages of oats. No raisins, though. Just a sprinkle of brown sugar and cinnamon.
