Who knows about BostonPirate? I really, really hope he comes back. But I have some doubts, as he was part of a rather strange thread controversy in another Forum here...

Strange is putting it lightly dont'cha think Frank? I read a few pages of that thread a while back. Corny was/is monitoring that thread and I felt he should have closed it early on. It became a NASTY witch hunt against BP. Some of the Jubers in that thread even talked about his Health status and threw it in his face..It was nasty and showed a lot of peoples true colors.

That was the ultimate Fail-thread EVER.

I was only making a "sly" reference and purposely saying very little about it, because those in-the-know would already know what I was referring to, while not encouraging a whole lot of other people to go over and try to find what I'm walking about. Anyone who thinks the thread was a character destruction of BostonPirate didn't read the thread.

BostonPirate attached his personal, in-real-life voucher for a controversial, suspected to be fictional famous former JUBBer who no one can find any evidence ever actually existed, and as soon as that came up BostonPirate disappeared and hasn't been back.

Take from that what you will. BostonPirate inserted himself into the middle of it though, a lynch mob didn't drag him in.

Not to mention that the account for the "suspected to be fictional famous former JUBBer " suddenly showed a login in November (years after the former JUBber died), and BP disappeared from here at almost exactly the same time.

That doesn't make me miss BP any less.

Well if there wasn't before, someone logged into his account right in the middle of a thread discussing his death. That plus multiple different "real names" that various people verified as "his true offline name" (including Boston Pirate) appear to have never existed in any record anyone can find.

Was anything conclusively proven? No. But someone's naive at this point to accept the story face value. Especially given Andreus's extraordinarily incredible story, and the fact that this site has such a history of dramatic faking.

When Jackoroe returned a few months ago he talked about the vacation he took and why he stayed away so long. So I'm guessing he's Lucky enough to be on another trip towards the end of Dec thru the New Year...
