Which Americans would those be?

She's spoken at other events.
www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-08-03/every-hillary-and-bill-clinton-speech-2013-fees

By the looks of it, about a third of Clinton's speeches are paid, and those that pay, pay dearly.
The organisations that can afford the standard fee aren't exactly small.

The speaking circuit is very lucrative. Celebrities, politicians, astronauts and sports stars get paid a lot for motivational hoo ha nonsense and pithy anecdotes. Be all you can be, etc.

Huffpost and Reddit.

The voice of all America.

By the way...as a reminder, Bill and Hillary donate most of their speaking fees to the Clinton Foundation.

Hillary ($30+ million)
Bill ($80 + million)

combined $110+ million

NET WORTH

Bernie - $528,000

some perspective for the Hillaryists

Love Hillary (attempting to) going after Bernie for tax returns

well he did them - or his wife anyway - $200K ish in earnings for the year

she really did make a case on his tax returns - TONE DEAF much ?

while she lamely flails with the notion that when Trump/Cruz release their speech transcripts she will as well

making up a premise along the way

"Boy do I love Brooklyn"

she couldn't be phonier if she tried

it really is quite remarkable

Trump and Sanders are the only two honest ones running.

Wouldn't say Trump is honest, though. Candid ... most definitely. But whenever he gets called out on something, he just plays the deny, deny, deny game.

That said, I think he would govern as a Moderate and mostly tackle fiscal issues, which is not a bad thing at all.

Yep. Some perspective. Success vs angry outsider rants.

1% vs 99%. where would Hillary be if her rich friends were not there to fund[STRIKE] their [/STRIKE]her campaign to maintain the status quo?

let them eat cake.

callous indifference dominates Hillarys wealthy super-rich sphere.

Keep in prospective. Leonard DiCaprio is worth 217 million, Peyton Manning 200 million; Oprah 2+billion. People who sell to the mass market become very rich without beating their serfs. It is unusual that Sanders, with his large salary is worth so little. If you believe him. Obviously he is doing something to keep his net worth down so that he can continue to preach class hatred. Offshore bank account is my bet.

I can trust the United States media et al to reveal the truth, were Bernie not speaking the truth...

There is nothing to suggest that Bernie's wealth declaration is anything, but the truth.

Otherwise your post is well formed....misinformation.

His income is 205 thousand and his has only saved 528 thousand in his lifetime? Not someone we want managing our national finances.

A Senator makes $174,000 a year. He's from Vermont so he has a house there. Then he has to pay for a place in DC. Does his wife live with him in DC? If not, he's paying for 2 households.

Then there's the cost of travel between Vermont and DC. How often does he go back to Vermont?

BTW, the President doesn't 'manage' our finances. That is Congress' job.

I have never believed that the other "Bernie", Madoff, has disclosed all his assets either.

The ancient art of equivalence with those who are convicted felons may well speak more of your prejudices, than of anything that Bernie might conceal, according to your inventions.

Senators receive an average of $3 million each to cover staff, office supplies and travel (a living expenses deduction of $3000 applies,a number unchanged since its inception).
I would assume his net worth would include the equity on his Vermont and DC properties.

Staff salaries wouldn't count as net worth.

His assets? Those were other people's assets.
