Your boyfriends a lucky guy. Distance can have a couple of affects on a relationship... it can destroy it or strengthen it.

Your feelings and heartfelt frustration and loneliness are signs of how important he and the realtionship is to you. It shows how deeply you care and how much you give.

I'm sure he's feeling it too... hang in there mate. It seems like eternity but things will sort themselves out. You've got your head screwed on right - it will settle down soon enough.

Hey, I'm not used to be the optimistic type but here it goes, lol: look at the bright side, as much as you are away from each other, you, unlike so many of us here, HAVE someone that you love and that loves you back... that's one of the best things in life! That nothing like waking up in th emorning and knowing that there's someone you love, somewhere, thinking of you... :D

As tallguy297 said, use this in to strengthen your relationship and keep in touch with him by any means you can! That will make the moment when you two get toghether again even more exciting!! ..|

It's hard when someone you love is farther away than they were. Is there any chance that you two can live together soon? Since he's not tied to Indiana for work reasons, are they more opportunities for him to work in Chicago?

I hope this is temporary. In the meantime, look forward to your visits and use your time together to maximum advantage. I hope that it's possible to be together permanently soon.
