Police in the US state of Idaho have arrested 31 members of a white supremacist group and charged them with conspiracy to riot at a pride event.

I'd say that this is progress. A few years ago, they wouldn't have been arrested.

Such a shocking surprise, it's like the white supremacists just popped up out of nowhere because nobody's been trying to warn us about them for a fucking century.

I call this the MADD Effect, it doesn't get your attention til it's in your backyard. Bunch of moms in the 90s saw drunk drivers killing people on the news every night and didn't take action til it was THEIR kid. Well congrats white gays, the racism you've been telling us is over, isn't a big deal, just ignore it, it's in your backyard now. But surely you can just reason with them like you've been telling us to do.

My recommendation, start cleaning house. There's some racists in your camp, there's even a few on JUB so you can get some real practice in how to deal with people who want you wiped off the face of the planet. Hell, one might even pop up in this very thread.

It's an impulse they can't control. If black people say the sky is blue someone's gonna argue that it's green with pink polka dots just to be contrarian. But I'm gonna keep screaming til they understand racism and homophobia are merely two heads of the same ugly wretched beast.
