It's not the guns.

One of the best days of my life was taking my Dad's hunting rifle to the police station after he died.

Hated it.

And just to note. I had an NRA certificate for markmanship from a Boy Scout Camp 'rootin' tootin' gun shootin' ' activity when I went to a Jamboree week in Pennsyltucky when I was 14.

And true this about mass shootings.

. . . said the man with the black little heart.

If people with bad hearts are to blame Mikey, why do we allow them to have guns?

Vote. Once they're finished with banning contraception, pornography and gay marriage, the GOP will be attempting to literally legislate out hearts.

VOTE!

It's really disgusting that even with the mountain of hater right-wing evidence, the general media is still focusing on how "mentally ill" he was.

Gotta do what you've been paid to do.

And we may have dodged a bullet (pun intended today):

A man armed with guns and explosive devices was found dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound at a Colorado amusement park, potentially averting “an attack of devastating proportions,” officials said.

The 20-year-old’s body was found in a women’s bathroom Saturday morning before the scheduled opening time of the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park in Glenwood Springs, the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office said. It appears he entered the park illegally after it had last closed.

Cops were sent to Maine gunman’s home weeks before massacres amid concern he ‘is going to snap and commit a mass shooting’

He was “armed with a semi-automatic rifle and semi-automatic handgun and multiple, loaded magazines for both weapons,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement. “He was wearing body armor and what appeared to be a ballistic helmet. Additionally multiple improvised explosive devices, (IEDs), were discovered with the suspect and in a vehicle associated with the suspect.”

Well fortunately he found one good use for his gun.

The United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit overturned an injunction against Illinois’ “assault weapons” ban, ruling that AR-15s are not protected by the Second Amendment...

Let's see how long this lasts.

Well. The Capitol Policeman that killed Ashli Babbitt left his gun in the bathroom a year or so before. He still has his job.
This is an asinine troll. Do better.

Don't think it is a troll.

Just irrelevant.

Ashli go exactly what could be expected in the moment, Her blood is on Trump's hands.

Not trolling. Life is too short for that. The Cap Cop did leave his gun in the john and from what I recall, suffered no consequences beyond "a stern talking to". He should have been fired on the spot.

That the same dude that left his loaded gun in the bathroom, shot Ashli is an irrelevant point I should have left out.

Ashli Babbit was a violent traitor who got shot quite literally trying to batter down the doors of the House chamber to get to the legislators in order to, for starters, lynch Nancy Pelosi, and hang Mike Pence.

The far right has been trying to canonize her, and bringing her up in such a silly, irrelevant, contrived fashion smells like an attempted provocation to me. Otherwise, what is the point?

Yeah, not convinced. The guy who shot the traitor doesn't work in a school in Allen TX.

Perhaps he didn't get fired because he didn't leave his gun in a grade school.

AND I'm glad he was there that day to defend our Democracy from an orange wannabe Hitler trying to end it.

If we want to complain about anything, let's start with why there was not more force being used to defend the capitol from traitors.

True that. He's not a rent-a-cop working at an elementary school. He's Capitol Policeman and I expect higher standards.

If only because all of Reps and Senators are so precious and valuable and oh so much smarter than anyone else.

This is like the Austin City Cops vs DPS and/or Texas Rangers.

The point of the story is that there was a gun brought into a public school that was not properly managed and could have gotten into the hands of a child.

What-about-ism fails to appreciate the gravity of the situation.

Yeah, not so much. I suspect most people would find it far more serious to lose a gun in a public school full of children, than in the capitol.

What does the intelligence level and preciousness of anyone have to do with anything? Nothing. That's just irrelevant and looks like an attempt to change the subject.

Whatever the disposition or actions of the traitor, the Capitol Cop, the APD, or the fucking Texas Rangers, it remains that all of that has fuck all to do with anything.

Hence the suspicion.
