Retired Persons(American Association of Retired Persons) sent me my junk mail right on cue as soon as I hit 50.
A couple of decades ago one joint had a sign advertising senior discounts for age forty-five and up!
As far as I know "official" senior age starts at 62 or 65.
Back when I was twink-age most of the old guys I scored were better than most twinks, especially giving head.

After the initial shock I began seeking out the discounts especially at movies. If someone vain wants to pay more let them, but I'll take the two bucks and put it toward the $5.50 for popcorn. BTW, you're never too young to plan. It all goes so much faster than you believe.
In Canada, the age of retirement (65) is different than the age of being eligible for the senior's discount at Shopper's, which is 60. Seniors get a lot of discounts up here. As of yesterday, I also don't have to pay ATM or debit fees to my bank. It's all free now.
There's a discount at theatres as well, but I haven't been to a movie theatre since Princess Bride made the rounds.

AARP decided some years ago that 'AARP' stands only for A A R P, and not (emphatically not!) for American Association of Retired Persons any more.
This is because they DON'T want people to think they're only eligible for membership if they're retired. But it's futile anyway, because people see initials and remember what they used to stand for!
They should change their name to FiftyPlus or something.
