See how long it takes your to type the words, "sorry not interested"

Now tell me why you would not take those few seconds to let someone know you are not interested when they message you online. It's so simple and easy and you convey your intentions to that person.

I'm sorry so many gay/bi/curious men are so disrespectful to one another online that they can't take a few seconds to show respect.

actually karma has been good to me. And you know what a possible response to the "no I'm not interested"? Here's one: oh you think you're so much better than me? well fuck you.

I think its good to first be polite but clear. If he doesn't get the message then you can just ignore.

I'm sorry, but I think in some cases there's a valid reason not to actually reply.

I'm pretty polite when I'm online, except in cases of political argument then I'll be a pit bull if I need to be; but if someone sends me a message that is comprised mostly of "wanna hook up" or anything variant there of, I don't want to respond to them.

Anytime in the past, if I've tried to meet someone, I start with a conversation. A little hello, ask how their night/day is going, and so forth; and exchange a few messages before asking if they were interested in getting together.

And in my experience, someone who jumps to hooking up before anything else, usually isn't going to take "sorry not interested "as an answer, and will usually bombard you with a few more messages about "come on" or "are you sure" and onwards and so forth...

I think for the most part, it depends on the site you are on and whether or not the person on the other end is treating you like a person, or like a means to their next sexual engagement. If I'm feeling like you aren't respecting me and recognizing me as a human being, then why would I take the time to respond to your advances?

Phew, I had more to say about this than I thought I did...
