Happiness is finding my skate key, telling the time...
These days, happiness is spending time with my rents in their retirement. Everything they do is pretty much open for fun. I will remember these days the most, asking them about stories about my grandparents and how we were when we were my nephews age. I ask them about the 70's and in the 60's when they came to the U.S. I love bouncing ideas off the them as an adult cause growing up it was just teen angst stuff.
My rents funded most of my college and all my living expenses so I didn't have to work during school. I just finished paying off my student loans. So for Christmas this year, I photo-shopped a big read bow on a picture of a car I bought them and gave it to them for Christmas. I have always wanted to do that for somebody. I'm glad that I could give them something. One thing I learned when my grandmother was in the hospital and I had a good job that it meant nothing cause she was in a coma and there was nothing I could give her to make it better.
My mom is the lady in my life, so she holds a special special place in my heart and life.
Happiness is also spending time with my newphews, cute little buggers. Thery're gonna break the hearts of some girls (and boys
) someday.

It really is the simple things in life that tend to make us the happiest. I was thinking about this on the way home from the doc's today.
I had posted in Piggy's vacation thread about a camping vacation me and some friends took. I have to say it was quite possibly the funnest i've had.
I thought about my bike ride home as I was riding it, that too was making me happy.
A lemon ice from Culvers a mile from my home would be my after ride treat.
cuddling up with a good book, a pile of pillows and a blanket, and a nice hot tea in winter, or a chilled brew in summer.
a glass of scotch to finish off the day.
These are the simplest of pleasures which make me so happy. What are yours?
Oh and btw, none of them compare to the simple pleasure I'm enjoying now after a long sweaty bike ride... laying naked on the bed under the ceiling fan on full blast
You know, your simple pleasures would seem wildly luxurious to most people in the world. Kind of reminds me of Marie Antionette prancing around in a frilly silk shepherdess costume at her Petit Trianon.

things that make me happy:
1.hot guy friends giving sincere smile at me dispite knowing that i'm gay and it may turn me on.
2.Brian from Family Guy. He's so hot! Btw, Stewie,Peter,Brian, and Quagmire are all from the same guy. Seth!(Just discovered it. Made me happy too)
3.coming to work and realized there's not much work to do and everythings under control.
4.listening to the radio playing "please don't stop the music" randomly and makes me dance in the moment.
5.eating out with friends or friend or family member and get a good service at the same time.
6.drinking a tall glass of cold milk when im really thirsty.
7.payday!
