It's time for the fair

I don't exactly remember going to one where they guessed your age, but I have been to one where they guessed your weight. I think I remember fooling them in my 20's.

While researching a science topic, I stumbled across the age of a key figure in my study, and was dumbfounded at his age.

Without knowing from recognizing him, or researching the photo, guess the age of this man:

From the picture I'm going to say early 60's.

I saw live footage of him in a documentary, and he easily looked over 70 in it.

That makes him 56. He doesn't look in any way exceptional for that age.

^ It's all that stupid mop: his skin (tightness), nevermind the pic resolution, looks pretty 50s, but people only look at lack of wrinkles, or grey long hairs, body size...
Remember why men in the XIXth century would sport thick beards as soon as they could grow them: the ideal being the older man, age was in the facial hair. Just like skinny hos in their mid-to-late twenties pretend to be 18.

Oh, I forgot to add that I find fair people funny-looking but decidedly, often, rather sexy

That seems to be an ethnic or regional norm.

Where I live and where I grew up, he looks 10-20 years older than 56-year-olds in the same generation.
