Of course, the sad thing is that the political structure in the United States intensely if not completely favors the status quo among political party affiliations. Any third party run is inevitably at an almost insurmountable disadvantage. They can willy-nilly be excised from ALL DEBATES, and the media can merely choose to ignore that independent candidate. He's only getting noticed because he's actually jumped ahead in some Primary polls, AND because he's in the Democratic Party, but are CNN or Fox News (two stations I don't watch) covering him...AT ALL??? What about the New York Times silence on him?he has unwisely chosen to remain aligned (if not increase his alignment) with the capitalist power structure
Bernie realizes, as nearly all of us here do, that if it was Sanders, Hillary, and whatever chosen Republican running, a win by the Republican would already be absolutely ASSURED even three months before the election.
