If I buy a season of a TV show, is that a download to my laptop or is it on iTunes so I can watch the show on any of my devices with iTunes?

Anyone know?

I haven’t bought anything off of iTunes in years, but it used to download to my computer, then sync to my iPod and iPad when connected. I would presume if you were making the iTunes purchase while on your iPad or iPhone that it would instantly download to that device now?

I was wondering if it may do both. I would mostly watch on my laptop, but I do own an old iPad Air and I could watch on it if it shares.

Music you purchase (rent?) from itunes is copied to their cloud, all you need is to be logged into your account to have access. This may not apply to TV shows. I have not messed with the cloud stuff since I only use itunes on my desktop computer.

I think its just downloaded onto your itunes so you can watch it on computers with itunes or Apple devices but if I am wrong feel free to correct me.

I have a lot of movies connected to my iTunes account, apparently you should be able to watch them on any device that an Apple account can be connected to, iPads, iPhones or MacBooks.

I have some Nick cartoons that were free that I got off iTunes Store, I just tried to play one of the episodes and they definitely play on my laptop without having to download them. Though it's probably better to download them in case you are in an area that doesn't have WIFI.
