You can do the same thing with Penguins (which is where the Aussies nicked the idea for the biscuit from).
I have tried Penguins when I was in London but its just not the same lol, so I will be bringing a few packs of Tim Tams when I go back next year, as well as a big jar of Vegemite
I've had both Penguins and Tim Tams, and hungbuzz is right. They're not the same. I grew up with Tim Tams before they started introducing all the different flavours. Original Tim Tams are the best, and huge favourite.

After all these years of waiting and wondering I finally got to try it for myself this afternoon. I've never seen them anywhere before but Lidl now stock them so I bought myself a packet as a treat. I put them in the fridge and watched a pretty boy on YT giving a tutorial to make sure I did it right.
Then I put the kettle on and made a pot of Yorkshire tea—really pushing the boat out—opened the packet and followed the instructions to the letter.
The result was comparable to anal sex. That is, a complete and utter dead loss. It doesn't work! Well of course it doesn't. How can you slurp liquid through a biscuit? They have a soft chocolate caramel filling but there is no empty space that tea or coffee could get sucked into (I'm not continuing the analogy of anal sex here, I'm just describing the composition of the biscuits).
What a disappointment!
