It took me about a month to notice them. I check them daily now. The easiest way is to click on "Quick Links" and from the drop-down menu select 'view comments'. I like them because they can take you right back to the thread and post that caused the member to leave the comment. I do wish there was some kind of alert to tell you when you had unread comments, though.

I don't get exactly what they are!

Is it a kind of PM without exactly being one? How do you comment like that on a thread? Can you respond to the ones listed on the right hand side of the screen??

Calm down. I'll explain it.

Ok, comments are just quick remarks. The only way to leave one and to respond to one in like manner is to click the little icon to the right of the Green Button (which is at the bottom left of each one of the posts). A little window will open up which you can type a limited number of characters into and then send.

If you want to keep up a conversation of comments back and forth then you'll have to find other posts by the same Jubber to comment in since you can only leave one comment per post.

Even though this site has Private Messaging and Forum Comments, it would be cool if it could have Instant Messaging, such as AIM. This way you could send someone a quick message without them having to go to another section of the forum, or not find it (like I did) for days or weeks. It would be similar to the chatroom, accept that you could send individual messages to eachother about the posts, as they are being written. And they would pop up right on YOUR screen. Do you guys know what I mean? Would something like that be possible here?
