I agree with you Palbert. I used to not have a care about twitter. However, used properly you can gain great insight. I have at least.

Another amazing use for twitter. Companies are particularly sensitive to what is on twitter about them. They pay media managers to monitor and respond. So if you had a shitty experience today at Target or Subway, then tweet about it. You will be amazed how quickly they respond compared to calling their hotline and getting their standard denial response.

You must filter Tweets, otherwise you learn nothing. Used properly, it is an active interface.
