What's so funny is that Jake is a pro. A GREAT guy to work for and a very close friend of mine.

My point is that to his audience.. he DOES have it.

His site is huge... and he's got a very dedicated following.
 
Don't get me wrong, I'm sure he does have a large following, as his site is still running, though I was mainly commentating on his latest escapade. There is a substantial difference between this stunt and his usual crap. The unconventional might like him preying on the perceived vulnerable and seemingly exploiting them, though do they really want to see him getting banged in front of his subordinates as an 'anniversary present'? Glad he doesn't have to worry about lawsuits.

Um, yeah, Soilwork...some people are convinced everything they see, hear, or read on the internet is true.

It's kinda like WWE, WWF, or whatever fans still think it's all real, they have no clue what exhibition means.....what a marketing coup! Admit it's all fake by use of the word exhibition and still keep you're whole fan base because they don't know what exhibition means.

Same on the internet, people don't get that it is "entertainment", therefore artistic license is often used to enhance what is being portrayed, they really believe it's all "real". Well, they said it was....

As for Jake's site...genius, good for him. He may may not be my type exactly, but I've still spilt plenty o'batter over the great entertainment he offers. I'm sure he pays well and I believe you that he takes great care to make it a fun, comfortable experience for them, why wouldn't there be a line out the door. There's a whole lot of people out there who may pay them decent, but treat them like shit, like they represent so much profit for them and that's it.

You can tell when someone is uncomfortable and is there humiliating themselves in an attempt to make some desperately needed cash and doesn't feel safe, I won't watch that.
