A great interview with Jake Gyllenhaal on a British television show Friday Night with Jonathan Ross. He comes across as natural -- and a cutie.

Great interview too.

Too bad about Jonathan Ross though - like him as an interviewer, but I can't listen to him for more than a few seconds before his specific way of speaking becomes annoying.
 
I saw this interview during the actual broadcast. Was quite a funny interview in parts, actually.
 
Check Jake out tonight Monday 10/15 on Letterman, tomorow on Today show and Live with Regis and Kelly and on Thursday he will be on Ellen. Wonder if he will still have the beard.
 
Either way, chances are he's growing the beard for work reasons. Actors do it a lot - either he'll have a script and he's growing it for that, or he's just gonna get one so people who need a bearded character will think of him.

Now that I have seen him on the talk show circuit I have decided I definitely do not like the beard. Fortunately he said he grew the beard for a movie, so he should be rid of it soon.
