No School here today. Many areas are still without power
 
All is fine and dandy here..which means we'll be getting trick or treaters..yuck.
 
There is a lovely boulevard across the river. The street is lined with overgrown trees on both sides. The Power company wanted to cut them down last 2 year but the residents have been fighting them. Now the residents are up in arms that their electricity is not on.

The trees fell from the weight of the wet snow.
 
Snow storms stink..especially ones early in the year.
 
I went to a Grocery Store in New Hampshire this morning. I had to detour twice for trees down over the road with power lines.
 
They also had 6 aisles of frozen foods and Dairy, completely emptied out. Today was their first day back with power.
 
I wonder if those things were sold out, or if they moved them to cold storage with a generator.
 
They were all brought out to a huge truck to be dumped. The store had no power since Saturday.

They had trucks outside ready to refill their stock.
