JakeLucas Appreciation thread

The leaves are falling already..can't stand it.
 
We have leaves falling also, but not many yet. About Oct. 15 it happens here.
 
I've been taking the same week of vacation for many years -- the week of October 20.

We always go to the family's farm in Kansas that week to do some work. Sometimes it's still hot and all the trees are still green and sometimes it's very chilly (around 45°F) and all the leaves have turned colors and have already fallen off.

It's pretty rare that we are there when the leaves are at their peak.
 
It's pretty chilly out tonight. I was out before doing some yard work. The cooler temps feel very nice compared to the hot temps.
 
We would gladly take all the rain your getting up there. We really need it. No rain in the forecast for the next 10 days.
 
Seems we are getting all the rain this year, and other areas are in a draught.
