geez. #-o don't know if anybody ever dealt with jamaican people before but most jamaican people i've ran into have short tempers and are angry, moody as hell. dayum, you can't ever do anything wrong around these people either because they just get pissed off. no wonder why jamaica is one of the most dangerous places in the world. maybe if everybody smoked some weed and calmed their asses down, they wouldn't be so *%%*.

Me. Once (1989?) was on a holiday trip for around 3 weeks on Jaimaica. With a friend, no pre-booking, travelling around in the whole country and from east to west.

Maybe things have changed, but we did not encounter any problem at all. My memories are quite vague right now, but I cannot remember we met alof of angry & moody people. Again, maybe things have been changed over the years,

Anyway, I feel very sorry for you, as I am aware that you have a Jamaican background.

Take care.

I would rather eat a pound of my own excrement than set foot on that homophobic rock.

I think it has something to do with living on a shithole island of the first order.

And the Irish and Scots in their bloodlines. At least that is what my Jamaican friend put it down to.

I've heard being gay is up to 10 years imprisonment with hard labour in Jamaica.

Also i was never impressed with their Ben and Jerrys sorbet....

If memory serves, one of my first Disney cruises pulled into there. It wasn't horrible, but it was easily my least favorite stopping spot on all the cruises I've taken. #firstworldproblems

I think the intellectual capacity of the author is summarized by "most angriest." The smartest part of this post is the punctuation.

While of course any sort of discrimination is wrong, after working in a call center, I've learned it's usually best to just hide in the vicinity of Jamaicans or New Yorkers.

It strikes me as strange that some of the most virulently homophobic places on the earth are former English colonies......
That's because the English set up an infrastructure of transport and communications that allows you to hear what goes on in those places. The other places nearby are equally full of savagery but you don't get to hear about it.

You have Uganda in Africa, and Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean, and Jamaica, that are standouts. I don't understand that kind of homophobia. It's easy to understand disgust with homosexuality, but actually tracking down and killing homosexuals as some kind of blood sport seems to reflect the absolute basic instinct a man has.

Wasn't Lord of the Flies about a bunch of English boys?
