I dont know how to embed, and I'm not really sure of Apple's policy on that so I figured the link will do.

So this is the "game changer" in terms of how we experience a movie. I'm going to wait to pass judgement until I see it,because it's meant to be seen in 3-D so I doubt that a 2D trailer does it justice. That said, I think it looks pretty kickass, but then again, I'm an eye-candy-aholic when it comes to movies.

If It has epic scenes thatll blow your mind...I tend to go gaga over it. A movie is a movie, it doesn't necessarily have to change the way you look at the world, just enjoy it, right?

What are your opinions of the trailer?

I don't like 3D movies.

It's all just a series of events strung together around lots of extreme closeups, things flying at you and things flying over you. Takes you out of the movie.

Trailer looks like all that creepy "Furry" porn or those lame-O Airbrushed magazines from the 70s full of pictures that should be on the side of a van.

I think he's lost it.

I understand your criticism of 3D movies, I wouldn't classify myself as farn (typo but it stays.), but from what I've read, I think this movie is supposed to be a whole new approach to 3D, I even heard that you may not need glasses to see it, but I'm HIGHLY doubtful of that. Also something like they invented a whole new software to create virtual environments to an insanely minute level, which obivously has it's benefits, particularly with movies like that.

I think that either when it comes out, in it's final 3D form it will blow peoples ballsacks, or Cameron will have proven to have gone Lucas and this will be his Jar Jar.

pretty nice graphic and all but I'm not going go see a movie if the plot sucks. So I hope the movie crew spent more time than just perfecting the graphics.

It looks like an interesting film but it won't even come close to the success that Titanic saw.

i saw the trailer yesterday when it went live.

considering the secrecy and hype surrounding the project i thought it was OK. as it is i don't currently have this on my dance card. i may just wait until the reviews to decide on whether or not i'll see it.

I read about that, too, and did a search. Perhaps it has something to do with this technology:

He spent 4 years or so on it. This movie has been a vision of his for a long time, and he is finally getting to make it.

He spent a lot of time on the story and on making it look better than anything anyone has ever seen.

RealD 3D technology, combined with High Definition Digital (no film) cinema is absolutely stunning and was in desperate need of something besides "Slasher/Horror" and "Kids Animated" works.

I'll definitely see this, I just hope it isn't 3 hours long.

Nothing in the trailer jumped out at me as "OMG this a MUST see!!!!" but I will of course reserve judgment until I see the whole thing...

...it does have Sam Worthington which is one factor in favour of it...in my books at least!

The 3-D part is interesting to me, if what he says is true you won't even notice it, it'll be 'just like being there'. I think that's cool.

The animation didn't impress me that much though. Still looks CGI to me, like a slightly more polished 'Beowulf'. Maybe more expressive to a degree, but I can still tell it's from a computer. When they say 'groundbreaking', I expect something more than 'incrementally better than what came out last year'.

Better be an awesome story. Could be, but all the effects and whiz-bangs won't save it. If it's a kick-ass story, then I prolly won't notice the effects at all.

I think Pixar movies have better (more realistic) animation though, even though they're supposed to be cartoons. The cityscapes on Fucked-Earth in Wall-E looked more real to me than these do...not to mention the Star Wars prequels, especially 3.
