James Carville: 55% of voters think Obama is a Socialist

When asked about “a socialist,” 33 percent of likely voters say it describes Obama “very well,” 22 percent say “well,” 15 percent say “not too well,” and 25 percent say “not well at all.”

In other words, 55 percent of likely voters think “socialist” is a reasonably accurate way of describing Obama.

The latest poll by Democracy Corps, the firm of James Carville and Stan Greenberg, has Republicans leading on the generic ballot among likely voters, 48 percent to 42 percent.

Americans believe (and correctly so) that Obama is a socialist.

I tend to think history will record that he was called a socialist regularly, but that He is the american president and a member of the democratic party.

he is a man of history and I think that there are people who resent that. We have a list of firsts, we americans, and he will be a long and strong part of history.

Socialism wont be much more than a laughable footnote in the margins of the history books.

I don't think a Nobel Peace Prize winner should be saying that the reason he is unpopular in Israel is because his middle name is "Hussein." They don't like him for the same reason Americans don't like him. He's not a leader.
