Janet hits TOP 40 again with Domita Jo

Billboard update for week ending March 15, 2008

The following list represents Janet's positions on all of the Billboard charts for the week ending March 15, 2008.

Interesting to note is that "Feedback" makes a significant jump on the Hot 100 this week, leaping from 53 to 19 as the result of a large increase in digital sales of the song. This is a new peak for the track on that chart and becomes Janet's highest charting single on the Hot 100 since 2001's "Someone To Call My Lover," which peaked at No. 3. Janet now has a total of 33 top 40 hits throughout her career.

"Feedback" also debuts on the various sales charts this week due to the February 26 release of the track's vinyl single.

Surprisingly, 2004's "All Nite (Don't Stop)" also re-enters one of the singles sales charts this week, four years after its release.

UPDATE: Billboard.com is now reporting that "Feedback" sold 81,000 digital downloads this week.

I never saw these on MTV but her impersonation of Brooke from real world flipping out is PERFECT...I lol everytime I see Brooke do that...on like the soup or best week ever...got to love janet

I was listening to All Nite yesterday and thought it would have been great to have it on discipline too. It was one of the few songs I liked off the Damita Jo album.

Happy Birthday Janet!

The legendary Janet Jackson was born May 16, 1966, making her 42 today. I decided to post this thread for her because there's a lack of Janet love at JUB. She's my favourite artist of all-time since I was little and I love her latest release "Discipline".

Back in April she received a GLAAD Media Award for her contribution to the community. She'll be on Ellen 5/19 and the LOGO NewNowNext Awards on 6/7. Her upcoming world tour starts in September. :)

I love Janet too.

I LOVE this opening of her last concert. She is on a pedestal and the dancers ride down on the stage lights. Kelly Konno, one of Janet's long time dancers, is from the Vancouver area (where I am). It was great when she chose Vancouver to begin her tour.

She puts on a great show.
I was going to go to George Michael but its $199 and I decided not to because I was watching other concert footage of him and he is always getting the audience to sing. Im not paying $199 to hear the audience sing
