i heard "so excited" on the radio while i was driving to the mall this afternoon. her song is hot, she is hot, and i bought her album this afternoon as well. it's hot like fire too! haha. her video is going to be one of the best dance videos of 2006! i hope she gets nominated at the american music awards and at next year's VMAs for her dance video. you go janet!

Janet's best piece of work since....the janet. album

Every song, on this album, i love..and can listen to over and over again...

"With U" and "Daybreak" are my two favorite tho...

and "Roll Witchu" which is only featured on the japanese import, or if you preorderd the album on itunes as well...

go buy this cd if you haven't it is great!

It is most definitely a video that is up there like Ciara's "Get Up" video. I don't know which one of those videos is better Janet's or Ciara's. I'm so torn.

I didn't know "If" was a gay-themed? :confused: I thought it was just one of Janet's videos she was just being Janet, but it is my favorite Janet video ever.

i literally, am a die-hard Janet fan...from janetxone forums....were all crazy to the extreme over Janet...anyhow...

i bought 20 copies of this damn CD...it is amazing...glad there are different versions, but yeah....

I have been a HUGE Janet fan ever since the release of the "janet" album in 1993, but I am sorely disappointed in this latest album. All of the samples I've heard off of it are god-awful and sound like the same bland, unimaginative, unlistenable hip-hop garbage that's been poisoning the airwaves for the past several years.

One thing I always loved about Janet is that she seemed able to elevate this kind of material above her peers in hip-hop, as evidenced by the "Velvet Rope" album, which was not only a masterpiece but arguably the greatest hip-hop/R&B album ever recorded in pop music history.

"20 Y.O." is just abominably bad. Even her videos and dance moves are retreads of what she has already done to death in the past. It feels like she is just trying too hard to recapture her glory days by trying to fit in with the younger generation of pop music stars instead of investing her time, energy and creativity into producing awesome music.

Sadly, this will be the first Janet album that I am not going to be purchasing.

Having said that, I hope that this album proves to be a big success for her, because she really needs a hit record after "Damita Jo" bombed (even though it had some of the best material she's ever recorded on it). So I am glad to hear that, despite my own disappointment, you are all loving it. If this album isn't a hit, I'm afraid it may be the final nail in the coffin of her floundering career.

i have been a janet fan since, the rhythm nation era, although i was only 4 years old at the time i do remember everything....

the janet. era, and album was what got me addicted to this music queen, her dance moves are beyond amazing, the quality and the flow her and her dancers, is just amazing...

not only that but she is just a very talented artist, that is what keeps me loving her....

of course, i am not going to love everything she does...not all her albums, are her best such as, All for You, was not excellent quality at all, but yeah, i bought it....

but anyhow i think you should give it a chance....

most of these tracks cannot be determined as good or bad, by just hearing a "sample" you need to listen to the entire thing first...

first of all you just heard the samples....its a huge ass difference listening to samples than the whole song. listen to the whole album first before you start hating on it

IF is what made me a Janet fan!!!! i remember when it first came out and seeing the video. i was 11 going on 12 at the time. and the dance move where her hands go between the guys legs i was like OMG SHES GONNA GET IN TROUBLE FOR TOUCHING HIS PRIVATE PARTS!!!!! after that i was hooked!
