Japanese Horrors

Tetsuo: The Iron Man




I remember watching this on Channel 4 (UK) when I was younger. Bought the DVD a couple of years ago. It's comes under the Japanese cyberpunk genre but I still think it's kinda a horror movie.

Haven't watched many Japanese horror movies though :(


Try Ichi the Killer



Hope some other users have some interesting horrors ..|
 
I've never considered Ichi The Killer a Horror, but it's a good film nonetheless. Go for Ju-on too.
 
I'm a fan of the classic horrors and I recommend Ugetsu which may not be the scariest but certainly one of the most elegant and well-made of all horrors - in any language.

i watched the Audition the ohter night... and it is so not Horror... half of the film nothing happens then some girl chops his legs and pin his eyes and that's all... really wasted night

Okay, I'm cheating because I haven't actually seen House yet, but I'll be damned if it isn't going to be scrotally awesome, woo woo. (!)

I have seen Tokyo Gore Police and The Machine Girl, both of which I recommend, though like some other movies in this thread I wouldn't call them horror.
