Wow, so Giambi wears his special underwear when he slumps, and some other guys as well.

Baseball players are legendary for their superstitions, but Jason Giambi's technique for snapping a batting slump may rank among the strangest : He puts on a gold lame, tiger-striped thong.

"I only put it on when I'm desperate to get out of a big slump," he told Portfolio.com.

That's too funny, now I will have to try and concentatre on the game and not wonder what Jason and some of the boys are wearing under their uniform

any why is giambi "reppin" a mustache? the yanks are supposed to be short haired and clean shaven.

It might be a Giradi decision to allow it.
When Manual took over the Mets he relaxed that rule for the Mets.
