Although I've known a few people, not as many as you might think, who've maintained personal blogs, I have never before attempted it. Partially because I had nothing I felt like sharing... Partially because I just couldn't be bothered talking into a void. Well, today I put it all behind me.

I don't exactly have much to say, but two things here on JUB have brought me to a point where I figure I might as well comment... First, and this is really pretty stupid, is my total inability to find more pictures of this guy...Arunas I've asked for help in the request forum, but so far my only responses have been that people find someone in one of my other galleries more attractive, or just don't find Arunas himself attractive. Great. Thanks guys. I'm glad to know your opinion, really I am, but the fact that I'm asking for more pictures suggests that I do happen to like this guy. Which means that either he is one of those guys that absolutely no one has ever heard or seen anything of (doubtful) OR no one is feeling generous and wants to take the time to check their personal collections. I've noticed that seems to happen a fair bit around here. I don't have the greatest collection of images myself, but I'd like to think that if I had seen something that someone else was looking for... I'd at least try to look for it in my own stuff. And before anyone points out that maybe people did do that and just didn't find anything... I've thought of that and I'm grateful. I'm also frustrated and wish I could find someone who did have something. ](*,)

The other thing I'm a bit ticked off by is a bit more "mature" if I can call it that. I know that most guys on here aren't looking for a conversation. Most guys are probably looking for some good pictures and maybe even a hook up. At the very least I would think that some sort of sexual contact (even if it is cyber sex) is expected. And once upon a time I probably would have been looking for the same thing. But now... Well things are different and some things are just plain out of the question. But does that mean that there's absolutely no one out there who's just looking to talk? I've noticed lots of guys claim they are in their personal profiles, but so far I'm not seeing any evidence of that. In the past week two guys I've started a conversation with (or at least attempted to) have just dropped off the face of the planet after a message or two. Now I don't expect every person to think I'm fascinating and witty, but still... Is this the trend I should come to expect? C'mon guys, prove me wrong. I welcome anyone who reads this and might be interested in having someone new to talk to to contact me. I'll answer every message. Yes it sounds sad, but I'm really curious to see if there are, in fact, some decent guys on here.

There... I'm done. No more whining. :-({|=

Later guys. Take care all.

Hmmm.... Blogging is addictive... Or at least that's how I'm going to explain doing this again. (!) Okay I admit to being the teensiest bit odd. Oh well... Live with it.

So... My thought of the day is this... What makes a guy hot? I figure everyone is attracted to one or more particular features, and if the guy has the right collection of those features then he gets a hot rating. Right? But for me it just doesn't seem to work that way. For example....

I find AJ, this guy (can't even see his face!!), and both these guys all attractive to varying degrees... And yet, looking at them, not only do they not resemble one another in anything more than they all have a penis, but they also don't resemble my partner, who looks more like this ...
(Not him, but close!)

Funny thing is, though, that I've seen other pictures of these same guys that made me feel very much NOT interested.

So what is it? Is my taste really just that varied? Or is there some element of commonality that I'm just missing. When I look at some of the pictures on here, I tend to make a decision about the guy long before I ever see his manhood... So I doubt if that's the deciding factor.

So what is it? I could point out hundreds more guys, some similar to one another, some not... But I still can't see one feature that catches my attention.

I guess I'll just have to take the chance of having a raging hard on every time I walk down a street... Because there are just so many hot guys around!!!

Take care all.

P.S. If anyone has more pictures of any of these guys (or anyone else you think is particularly hot!) please feel free to pass 'em on!

Let me begin by warning any and all readers that this is going to be a rant. It may be short. It may even be polite (doubtful, but who knows). But it is most definitely a rant. Before I begin, though, let me give a very brief background story... I bought a Gateway computer approximately 7 years ago. Up until last week I'd never had a single problem with it. No freeze ups, no weird shut downs, not a single glitch or hiccup. There's the background.

Last week (Wednesday) my computer started to act in a decidedly odd way. How was it odd? Who cares. Long story short, I spent a day trying to figure out with ultimately no success. Or rather I had success, but it was really only just replacing one problem (virus) with another (spyware/adware from hell). Since it became increasingly clear that under no circumstances was my beloved computer going to run properly again (if you're a computer expert and think that there was a solution I obviously missed, let me just say that whatever it was that got on my system managed to evade 4 complete hard drive formattings, which, as far as I know, shouldn't be possible). So I decided to buy a new one.

Unfortunately it was now Friday, a religious holiday, and one of two days (non consecutive) during which I could buy nothing. Despite that deluge of pop up windows (well into the double digits) and random system shutdowns, I managed to do some research... Summed up, systems are completely different now. Add to that the total lack of system choices available to my specific geographic location (at least the choices that don't involve ordering online or over the phone and waiting a week, no I am NOT that patient), I was pretty upset.

Saturday did eventually arrive, despite my initial misgivings to the contrary, and after having had to work well into the afternoon, I finally had the opportunity to do some actual in person shopping. You might think that this would be preferable to the pop up window hell I had been enduring, but rest assured in knowing you would be wrong. When not being ignored by sales staff (the first time I actually wanted a sales associate and none could be found) or being temporarily blinded by a poorly placed high intensity projector, I was finding my choices to be even more sparse than I'd originally thought.

Somehow, whether by miracle or merely phenomenal luck, I managed to find a system which seemed adequate. Or perhaps more than adequate, but I'm not going to say because I dislike admitting to having a weakness for getting the deluxe version of new "toys" (in this case a media style computer). I will say only two things about the system I purchased. First, it was brand new (released a mere week ago). Second, I returned it first thing Monday morning. Now on the off chance that anyone is wondering why I will defend my decision by pointing out that a brand new system probably should not come to a dead halt every time you connect to the internet. Nor should the technical support for said computer hang up on a caller four times in succession. So bye bye new computer.

As you've probably figured out by now (the fact that I'm able to write this is a good clue) I did manage to find another computer. Despite being given a hassle at the original store, and initially finding no substitutes at any other stores, I did finally find something that I THOUGHT was a good substitute. Significantly less extra features, but the basics were better. Or so I thought. Now in this circumstance I will specifically name the offending company... MDG!!! Now if you're not Canadian you might never have heard of this company. You should fee blessed. As of right now my opinion is that these people are the biggest scam artists ever. In hopes of avoiding yet another descent into virtually incoherent madness I will simply point out that when a system is advertised as a Pentium D Dual Processor 930 then that is what you should get. With MDG that is not what you get, however, and despite every evidence to the contrary (including the advertising on their own website!) they insist that that has never been an option. Add to that the fact that they think the only solution to the problem is to DOWNGRADE your system even further and you have to wonder what these people have been doing in their free time. I won't offend anyone by suggesting anything specific though, because there seems to be absolutely no reasonable explanation (drug, alcohol or anal probing) for the type of behaviour they have exhibited. And this by the manager no less!

So... My point? Well first, don't buy MDG. Second, be glad of your computer while it works. And third... Third is a whole other rant. In brief, don't tell people that your'e going to do something, especially in a long winded patronizing sort of way, and then turn around and not do it. Or do exactly what you said you were not going to do. Or pretend to be nice and kind and generous and then turn into a self indulgent ass. Or whatever it is that some people become when they're just too stupid to recognize a good thing when it's right in front of them.

If I've offended anyone, especially if you feel you recognize yourself in this (or better yet you work for MDG and actually plan on doing something to fix the blatant false advertising that seems to run rampant in your company!) then stop and ask yourself this... Are you sure you're the one I'm talking about? And are you even more sure that I'm not justified in what I said?

As always, glad to hear from anyone who has a comment, a return rant, or just wants to talk. And if and when MDG actually does anything to solve this situation I'll be happy to retract any negative things I've said about them.

:grrr:
